ColdMark® freeze indicator gives receiving teams a fast pass/fail reading when freeze exposure is the primary risk. If the shipment drops below its selected activation temperature for 30 minutes or more, the clear bulb turns irreversibly violet.

ColdMark freeze indicator uses a high-performance acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds well to most smooth surfaces. For best adhesion, apply above 10°C / 50°F. The adhesive is resistant to water, detergent, alcohol, and aliphatic hydrocarbons, but it's not recommended for surfaces exposed to active solvents like ketones, esters, or some chlorinated hydrocarbons. If your application involves those chemicals, check compatibility before use.

Does ColdMark® record how long a breach lasted?

No. ColdMark freeze indicator confirms whether a sustained breach occurred, defined as 30 minutes or more of exposure below the threshold. For applications requiring a detailed time-temperature record, a data logger like the MaxiLog PDF is the appropriate tool.
